Entering and updating Doping Control Forms for the sport Boxing

As of October 2024

When entering Doping Control Forms for the sport "Boxing", two disciplines are available to end users:

  1. “IBA Boxing” affiliated with the International Federation “International Boxing Association”
  2.  “World Boxing” affiliated with the International Federation “World Boxing”.

With immediate effect if you test athletes of a National Federation which is:

  1. a member of World Boxing, please enter the following sport/discipline in the ADAMS DCFs Boxing | WB Boxing
  2. a member of the IBA, please enter the following sport/discipline in the ADAMS DCFs Boxing | IBA Boxing

If you already have entered, in ADAMS, Doping Control Forms for athletes that are affiliated with World Boxing, please (i) edit the information on the DCF to update the discipline, (ii) reject the match with the lab result and (iii) contact the analyzing laboratory to also request that they update the information.

 

Laboratory codes of the disciplines:

  • IBA Boxing: BX
  • World Boxing: WOBOX

Further, please also revise the discipline in the Athletes’ profiles to Boxing | WB Boxing. This will ensure that the IBA no longer has visibility over the Athlete’s profile and those specific DCFs and related results.
