How to deal with 2FA if I changed my phone?

If you have changed your phone number linked to your ADAMS Two-Factor Authentication (2FA), you will need to contact your Anti-Doping Organization or International Federation so that they can disable your old 2FA linked to your old phone number. Once disabled, your 2FA will be disabled for 24 hours.

*Tutorial video is available here.

  1. Within 24 hours of your old 2FA being disabled, log into ADAMS
  2. Click on your name in the top right-hand corner. Select security options.
  3. Click on Connection Settings.
  4. Click on Set up Authenticator Application settings.
  5. In an Authenticator App (Microsoft Authenticator, Google Authenticator) on your phone, click add account and scan the QR code on the screen. It will require you to add a name or nickname to the new account.
  6. The Authenticator App will generate six-digit code which you will need to enter in Step 3 in ADAMS.
  7. Name your new device and click on Next.
  8. You will be able to see that your new 2FA has been set up.
